Eligibility Cruteria

• CGPA of 3.50 and above for Polytechnics and Colleges of Education
Master’s Degree and Ph.D applicants:
Master’s: Must have at least a Second Class (Upper Division) at undergraduate level.
• Ph.D: Must have at least a Distinction in Master’s degree. Those with less than Distinction are not eligible.
• A letter of recommendation from the Head of Department (HOD) is required.
Physically Challenged Students in tertiary institutions (University, Polytechnic, College of Education, School of Nursing/Midwifery, College of Health Tech, and Postgraduates) are qualified for the Handicapped Scholarship Award.
Note: Students on Part-Time and Sandwich courses are NOT qualified for the scholarship awards.

Physically Challenged Scholarship
- Applicant must be a bonafide student of a Tertiary Institution
NCE/OND SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
- This award is for students in the 2nd year of the NCE/OND programme, and candidates must have a minimum of 3.5 CGPA score in the previous examinations.
MEDICAL SCHOOL
- The applicants must be in 2nd year. CGPA scores are not applicable.
HND SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
- All applicants must have a minimum of 3.5 CGPA in the previous examination.
UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
- All applicants for Undergraduate Scholarship must be in 2nd year or above, and must have at least 4.0 CGPA score in the previous examination.
POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS.
- All applicants for postgraduate scholarship awards should have at least 2nd Class Upper Division at First Degree or Upper Credit at HND Level.
- All applicants for Ph.D. Scholarship Award should have a First-Degree Certificate; not lower than Second Class (Upper Division) and a grade of Distinction in Master’s Degree.
Conditions For The Scholarship Awards
- The Awards is valid for one academic year only and shall lapse if not utilised within the year of award.
- Beneficiaries are not allowed to enjoy any other scholarship or financial award from the State Government.
- Beneficiaries must devote his/her time to full time course for which the scholarship is awarded.
- Beneficiaries must conduct themselves as good ambassadors of Ekiti State.
- The scholarship may be terminated if the beneficiary fails to comply with any of the prescribed rules and conditions.
- Any error or mistake made or discovered by the 10 Board, shall be resolved in favour of the Board. The discretion of the Board on such issues shall take precedence over the beneficiary interest.
