Sterling has partnered with Educare, organisers of the South East Maths Olympiad, to provide secondary school students across Nigeria with a platform for bi-weekly mathematics competitions.
Who Can Participate?
The Sterling Bank Maths Quiz Competition is designed for secondary school students across Nigeria.
The official competition page currently lists the following eligible classes:
- Primary 1–6
- JSS 1–3
- SS 1–3
While only secondary school students can compete, children of all ages are welcome to practise with the quiz questions and build their Maths skills

The competition follows three main steps.
Step: 1 Register

Complete the registration form and create a participant profile.
Step: 2 Take the Quiz
Join the online qualifier on the scheduled test date and answer the questions within the allotted time.
Step: 3 Compete Live
The top 10 participants qualify for the live grand finale to compete for the top prizes.
